Young People's Participation

Our aim is to facilitate a collaborative approach in the design of spaces for young people, by young people.

We are keen to work with partners in the drive to improve schools on a very small budget. This maybe repainting a room or helping with funding applications to refurbish areas of your school.

We start by:

  • Discussing young people's interactions with each other and how they want those to be
  • Analysis of the room or buildings functional operation
  • Ideas wall -a brain storming session
  • Working with collage and looking at colours & textures to see how these would transform their space
  • Making models and producing visual templates to enable the communication of their ideas
  • The incorporation of examples from the UK and abroad of good practice
